02e. Lockdown

The options contained in the Lockdown screen provides the system administrator with greater control over the functionality available to users given access to administration screens.

Click Setup, Security then Lockdown to access this functionality. Only the admin user account has access to this page (not a standard administrator user).

Enable any combination of the Database Connections, Data Sources, Data Source Groups, Indexes, Search Engines and Users options to restrict the creation of any of the selected components.
