CXFORMS is an extension of CXAIR’s data ingestion capability to include bespoke data entry forms and integrated data capture within reports.

)))

CXFORMS is designed for any size organisation with a requirement for structured data capture or data entry and has been designed to be scalable regardless of implementation size or target audience for which data will be captured.

The data capture functionality provided by CXFORMS is achieved using the following components:

= Data Entry =

CXFORMS adds data entry capability to [[CXAIR >>doc:Technical Documentation.CXAIR.WebHome]]through custom forms with built-in validation and integration with new or existing Indexes. Data entered through CXFORMS can be used to augment existing data sets, create new data sets, log outcomes from reports and track savings made from projects.

= Data Capture =

Captured data is automatically fed into [[CXFORMS>>doc:]] reporting Indexes, facilitating report creation from submitted responses. This structure is derived from the submissions and is automatically shaped to present each entry row-by-row.

= Form Creation =

Users create forms through an intuitive drag-and-drop interface from scratch or from a pre-created template.

All CXFORMS fields can have validation rules applied to ensure that data is entered in a pre-defined structure or format and fields can be linked to the corresponding data within an existing Index to pre-populate values for recipients.

Any field can be made mandatory for completion and displayed alongside text and HTML content. Forms can be one continuous page or split into multiple steps and users can embed custom CSS or stylesheets with the ability to preview the form as it is being created.

= Form Publishing =

After a form has been created, users can publish one or more forms to either an external URL or a distribution list. Publishing to an external URL allows any respondent with that URL to access the form and respond through an internet browser. Users can share this URL online or send the URL to specific individuals to respond to the form. Publishing to a distribution list automatically emails the form to a pre-defined list of respondents.

= Response Tracking =

CXFORMS includes built-in response tracking functionality to help users assess the amount of responses to a specific form and the content of each particular response. Users can view how many forms have been opened, begun completing a form without completing it and have completed a form. Once forms have been distributed, the project page will automatically update as they are completed.

Users can view submissions to display all recipients who have completed the form. Users can drill through on a specific response to view the answers provided by that recipient.

= Work Queues =

Use the [[Work Queue>>doc:.07\. Work Queues.WebHome]] editor to create custom workflows that facilitate the automation of outcomes driven by submissions. Link multiple forms, automatically modify submissions based on responses and supplement responses to shape the output for efficient reporting.

= Distribution Lists =

Users can upload a CSV file to create a distribution list for forms to be emailed to. There is functionality included to manually edit the list, exclude duplicates from the list and define the email to be sent to individuals on the list. Forms can be sent to more than one distribution list simultaneously.

= Custom Emails =

Users can fully customise emails sent to respondents by CXFORMS through a custom HTML editor. Users can change the subject title of the email and any wording, images, branding, logo, colours and links included.

= Pages Integration =

CXFORMS can be created and embedded within [[Pages >>doc:Technical Documentation.CXAIR.User Guide.02\. Reporting.2e\. Pages.WebHome]]reports as an element type. Forms are created using the same functionality as within the dedicated CXFORMS interface. Users viewing the report, either in [[CXAIR>>doc:Technical Documentation.CXAIR.WebHome]] or through [[Report Viewer>>doc:Technical Documentation.CXAIR.User Guide.7\. Report Viewer.WebHome]], can complete the embedded form.
