| Term             | Meaning                                                                                                                   |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| AI model         | A saved CXAIR configuration that identifies a provider model and its operating limits.                                    |
| Data mode        | AI mode for questions, analysis and report context without enabling Pages design instructions.                            |
| Design mode      | AI mode that enables supported Pages inspection and modification tools.                                                   |
| Dynamic view     | A named distinct-count configuration on an index; crosstab totals can use it to count distinct values instead of records. |
| MCP              | Model Context Protocol, used by AI clients to discover and call structured tools.                                         |
| QueryEngine name | The exact internal index identifier required by query and crosstab tools.                                                 |
| UserQuery key    | An internal key tying tool calls to a live CXAIR user and query session.                                                  |
| Bearer token     | A credential sent in the HTTP Authorization header for an approved external MCP connection.                               |
