# 04. Licencing

## Licencing

Licencing is controlled by a personal reference number (PRN) that acts as a unique licence key.

## Installing a New Licence

Click **Setup**, **System**, then **Install Licence** to access the Licence Activation screen.

Choose to process the PRN using the **Automatic** (if the server has access to the Internet) or **Manual** (no access to the Internet) process.

If the server has internet access, enter the supplied PRN into the **PRN** text box and click **Licence** at the bottom of the screen.

When validated, the Licence screen containing the detailed licence options is displayed.

The **Manual** option will automatically generate the code required to request a licence that will then need to be emailed to <support@connexica.com>.

After receiving the return email containing the key, enter it into the **Manual Licence String** text box and click **Licence** to complete the process and display the Licence screen.

## Viewing Installed Licence

To view the currently installed licence, click **Status**, then **Licence**.

The current Version along with the unique Machine ID is displayed. A table denoting all currently licenced features is displayed below.
