# 06. Settings

## Settings

When viewing the Home page, click the **Settings** icon to access the Settings page.

## Contact Fields

To edit the default fields that will be used when adding contacts to distribution lists, click **Open** under **Contact Fields**.

Click the **Edit** icon to edit a contact field, and click the **Delete** icon to remove a contact field.

Drag and drop fields into the **Drop Fields Here** text at the bottom of the page.

#### Delete added fields

Click the **Delete** icon next to the corresponding field.

#### Edit added fields

Click the **Edit** icon next to the corresponding field.

#### Reorder active fields

Drag and drop active fields to a new position in the list.

The system fields, including **Email**, **Title**, **Forename**, and **Surname**, cannot be deleted; they can only be reordered.

## Templates

To edit the default email templates that will be used when distributing forms, click **Open** under **Templates**.

Click the **Save** icon to save all changes to the current template.

### Default Email

To change the default email that is sent to recipients of a form, click **Open** under **Email**. This opens the text editor.

All visible text can be edited directly, or you can access an HTML editor via the **Tools** drop-down menu by clicking **<> Source code**.

To save changes, click the **Save** icon.

### Default Submission Received Message

To change the default message that is displayed when a recipient completes a form, click **Open** under **Submission Received**. This opens the text editor.

All visible text can be edited directly, and you can access an HTML editor via the **Tools** drop-down menu by clicking **<>Source code**.

## Creating a New Template

#### Create the template

Click **Create Template** and enter a name and description, if required.

#### Open the template

Click **Open** on the new template.

#### Save the template

Click the **Save** icon. The new template will then be available for selection when distributing forms.
