# 06. Lockdown

The options contained in the Lockdown screen provides the system administrator with greater control over the functionality available to users given access to administration screens.

Click **Setup**, **Security** then **Lockdown** to access this functionality. Only the admin user account has access to this page (not a standard administrator user).

Enable any combination of the **Database Connections**, **Data Sources**, **Data Source Groups**, **Indexes**, **Search Engines** and **Users** options to restrict the creation of any of the selected components.
