# 13. Currency Management

Using the Currencies functionality, monetary conversions can be setup within Indexes.

Navigate to **Setup**, **Extensions** then **Currency Management** to access the Currency Management screen.

To update the currency conversion data, click the link to download the currency template. The template consists of the following columns:

| Column       | Description              |
| ------------ | ------------------------ |
| **Column A** | Base Currency Code       |
| **Column B** | Amount                   |
| **Column C** | Convert to Currency Code |
| **Column D** | Conversion Rate          |
| **Column E** | Effective From Date      |

To update the conversion rates, change the value within **Column D** to the new rate and update **Column E** with an **Effective From** date. Once completed, save any changes made and click the **Choose File** button to upload the updated template.
