5 The appearance of the solution is fully customisable using the Skinning and Colour Palette options.

9 The Skins functionality provides the necessary options to customise the appearance of the solution.

11 Click **Setup**, **System** then **Skins** to access the Skins screen.

13 Previously saved skins are displayed under the **Existing Skins** header, and can be filtered using the search bar beneath.

15 Click the **Edit** icon to modify the saved skin, or the **Copy** icon to create a copy of the skin and open the editor. To delete a skin, click the **X** icon.

17 To create a new skin, click **New** and enter the required skin name in the **Name** textbox. Change the area of functionality to customise using the **Page** dropdown list.

19 After selecting a page, each part of the screen can be altered by clicking the relevant section of the screen and filling in the resulting properties in the menu that is displayed. Enter colours using hex codes or by selecting from the popup colour picker.

21 Click **Toggle Popup** to configure the popup skinning options and click **Base** to change the base values that apply throughout the solution.

23 Click **Save** to save any changes, or click the up arrow to reveal further **Save** options. Click **Save and Set as Default Skin** to set the skin as the default option for all users, or click **Save and Set as Current Skin** to change the preferences for the current user. Click **Cancel** to discard any changes.

29 Colour palettes are used to create a default colour scheme that is applied to individual field values. A colour palette can be set at User, User Group, Index or Search Engine level.

31 Navigate to the Colour Palette screen by clicking **Setup**, **Extensions** then **Colour Palette**. All currently configured Colour Palettes will be displayed, and clicking **New** will allow the configuration of a new **Colour Palette**.

33 Enter a name in the **Name** textbox. This name must be unique.

35 Use the **Index** drop-down list to select the required Index, and then select the required field from the **Display Field** drop-down list.

37 All available values from the chosen field will be revealed below. Enter a hex code or use the popup colour picker to select the required colour. Use the empty box and the **Add** button at the bottom of the list to add custom values.

39 Click **Create Colour Palette** to complete the process.
